How can we effectively navigate the complexities of family life, parenting and inter-generational communication? What evidence-based tools and strategies are most relevant? How do we mark milestones authentically?
Pixie: Family Life Consulting was created to make family life more manageable and meaningful.
I have a PhD in History from Deakin University, a Masters in Social Work from the University of Chicago and a BA (Hons I) from Sydney University. I have spent 25 years researching, studying and working in the fields of history, cultural memory, trauma, family systems, inter-generational dialogue, oral history and testimony.
Iām the co-creator of 10Q, a digital annual reflection tool which has helped thousands of people to record important life moments. I have experience in non-profit management producing projects and products and have taught graduate courses on Historical Trauma at the University of Chicago.
I am a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers and a Licensed Social Worker in Chicago, Illinois. I live between Sydney and Chicago with my husband and 2 children.
